About Solstice Path

Ten years, twelve teachers, four traditions — and one belief that practice should feel like coming home.

Rooted in Los Angeles, Grown With Care

Solstice Path began with six mats in a rented garage off Sunburst Lane. Our founder, a Mysore-trained practitioner with a restless back, wanted a room where rigour and gentleness could share the same floor.

A decade later that garage has become a three-room shala with a garden, a tea corner and an apothecary shelf — but the rule has never changed: small groups, real teachers, and props for every body that walks in.

What We Hold Dear

Lineage, Not Trends

We teach four named traditions with qualified teachers — no fusion fads, no playlist-led workouts.

Every Body Welcome

Chairs, bolsters, straps and walls are teaching tools here, not apologies. Beginners get extra eyes.

Stillness Counts

Restorative evenings, sound ceremonies and tea after class — recovery is programmed, not postponed.

Meet the Teachers

Twelve teachers guide our rooms; these four lead the traditions. Say hello before class — they mean it.
